I wouldn't expect him to.

Exactly, so one has to take into consideration that he's going to want between 5-8 years worth of term. If I'm the Canucks, I'd consider offering a 5-6 year deal if I can get him at a number between 7 and 8 million AAV, but if Millsy wants a number north of 8 million and/or 7-8 years of term, than I trade him

I changed up the package, I was more overestimating the likes of Studnicka and JFK

6-for-1 trades (v. 2.0 is worse too ^ ^ ^ ) may make VAN better. However, It will make BOS need to go looking for a new GM (ya you guessed it - he'd get fired) just like Christmas-Jimbo was...

I think Miller likes playing in Vancouver and will sign a reasonable contract. I'm thinking $7M per for 6 years.

Studnicka is 22 and hasn't shown anything. Probably has a ceiling as a 3rd liner, more likely to never become a full time nhler. JFK is 25 and putting up poor numbers in the SHL, likely never comes back to North America.

Debrusk has some value as a reclamation project but you don't trade a guy like Miller for a reclamation project unless that's a throw in to the core of a deal.

Studnicka has shown a ton. Cassidy hates young players.

You’re still wrong.

Edit: hoooollyyy crap i just saw the updated one. You’re right. That is F- brutal. I think the first one was fine, but this is just laughably bad.

Then what? Miller trade starts with Lysell and a 1st if Brandon Carlo is untouchable, Senyshyn and Wagner have no value

If miller trade starts with lysell and a first, the miller trade ends there. Not gonna happen.

Fine, all stick with Studnicka if that's what it takes

I'm curious since you seem to know enough about the situation. Based on what, is Studnicka "more likely to never become a full time nhler"?

It's not so much a knock on him as it is the chances of someone in his position becoming a full time nhler. I'm not saying he won't do it, he very well could and be an effective one at that. But he turns 23 this year and has had minimal time in the NHL and hasn't lit up the AHL either. There are a lot of players around the league in similar positions to him and the majority of them won't become NHL regulars. Some of them will and some of them will become top 6 guys but most of them will be tweeners.
