Broberg has played like meh, Holloway definitely the 1st definitely. Don't see Chychrun getting dealt in the west. He'd be better going home and playing for the Panthers.

Edmonton should not make that Yotes trade, trading their two top prospects and their 1st just isn't worth it.

Broberg has been fine, why think this, if it is because he didn't get that much playing in the SHL the same thing has happening to many great defenseman including EK65 or is it because he wasn't very good in the 2020 wjc, that is because he was injured but he still wanted to play because he was the captain of team Sweden and in the first game where he wasn't injured he had 2 assists. Broberg even showed in his 8 game stint that his best asset, his skating translates to the NHL because he was very very noticeable in the very few minutes Tippet was giving him

Like I said just try it yourself. Make a team and make those trades and you’ll see that it’s around 8mil of cap space. It would be tight to make it work but its definitely doable. And you can always move a guy like Kassian or Foegele if it gets too tight.

Yeah I think the Oilers need to keep Broberg and Holloway, they desperately need them to fill big roles on their ELCS next season if not this season.
I get the desire to grab a top 4 dman like Chycrun but Broberg could be that guy soon so why throw that away along with the other good assets it'd take to get Chycrun.
For this season I think the Oilers should grab another Kulikov type acquisition to help their defense a bit, think they should be trying to get Da Haan sooner then later.
