Change it to an unprotected 2023 first and I'd be interested. You need to give Montreal more of an incentive to take Koskinen back

I'm not 100% convinced they trade Toffoli at all, he's a great leader and awesome offensively and on the PK. BUT if they do, he alone will command a 1st + top prospect, so the fact that you've attached koskinen probably means you need to up this value.

Bourgault and a 2nd would be worth considering for real. I don't know why people act like a few months of Koskinen would be a deal-breaker. Allen is projected to miss significant time anyways, so Koskinen is the perfect placeholder to keep Primeau in Laval.

Isn’t smith out for an unknown amount of time and skinner on Covid protocol? Anyways smith hasn’t been good this season and is battling nagging injuries and skinner isn’t near ready for the starter roll. Value is probably decent but I feel like Edmonton would have to win their games 6-5 in order for this to pan out for them

That’s exactly it. Canadiens need a goalie to play games as both starters are out. I’m not saying it adds value but it isn’t negative value given the situation.
