I don't think EDM moves Bouchard. And if they did I wouldn't then flip him for Girard

You think a 5th rounder justifies a multi-year $5M cap dump? Kings aren't interested in getting older and uncreative for a 5th and $5M against the cap.

You'd be surprised about how much GMs value "playoff experience" for absolutely no reason.

Cap dump?????? Can you tell me 1 player making less against the cap that was/is on pace for 50 points over an 82 game season for the last 6 years. Thats as consistent as anyone in the league.

Firstly EDM won't be moving Bouchard for that, and secondly why would you flip him and add a first? I like Sammy G but that's a little bit overboard.
