Because you get the 1st overall pick in Lafreniere and a 1st stud defenceman which we need. Younger, cheaper and build for the future.

Miller, 2 firsts - Schneider, Lafreniere
Motte - 2nd rounder back

Your not getting Schneider and Lafreniere for 2 firsts. You won't even get Lafreniere for Miller.

You are undervaluing Lafreniere and Schneider and overvaluing Miller.

Sell high but as for stud players back
