Toffoli got 2 years left on a very great deal, those years are much more valuable then a mid tonlate first round pick and a bunch a wannabe. Toffoli is a 20+ goal scorer, with very good hockey IQ. There already a connection between him and Sutter. Toffoli kill penalty, is a good option in the middle of the box for the Poweplay and can play both wing. Pelletier is of the table for sure but any trade involving Toffoli would be a top prospect like Zary or Coronato. Montréal won’t just gave away all their players especially the only one that perform this year.

Ottawa has pretty much eclipsed the need to trade for a guy like Sean Monahan. The Sens have their long term 1-2 down the middle with Norris and Stützle. Much better off keeping Connor Brown imo.

What’s up with Monahan? I’ve seen a few AGMs on here trading him as basically a cap dump; why is his value so low?

Also with Pinto our future is set at center. Brown is a solid player, even when he played in TO I liked him

Montreal rejects especially to a divisional rival. The price will have to be way higher than that.

Monahan and a very late 2nd isnt close on Value for Brown. Monahan's been disappointing and Brown's been exceptional, a late Panthers 2nd doesnt make up that difference.

I'd pass.
