It’s also asinine to retain on a $750k contract. You’re dumping double that in the trade already.

This scenario really just called for the cheapest possible backup goalie. Anderson being the best, I’d toss in a 5th to make it happen or just go Janmark to any team with a goalie making $750K

True. In this scenario Vegas is a mere $25K under the cap though, so it’s needed.
