Devils don't need DB retained, but could offer to retain on AJ.
Would need much better asset than that 3rd going back to NJD for that 2yr retention.
Though I'd prefer to trade Zacha over AJ at this point.

Zona won’t move Crouse for that. They likely keep him. No need to move him. If they can capitalize on him and get a 1st or high end prospect they will, if not they hold him. In other words you’ll have to overpay for him to get them to move him.

Philly deal is fine. I don't know why Boston does the Jersey deal. Zona rejects that.

Braun gets a 2nd I think, I am biased as a Flyers fan but he has been legitimately good for us and for sure deserves to play over Stralman. I like the Johnsson fit.

Braun as a 7 is a huge luxury. He has looked reliable (given the dumpster fire that is our team) in mostly d-zone starts. He is definitely able to contribute to a playoff run and can play big PK minutes.

That said, the value seems on par with what I'd expect GMCF to get.
