Lol they are bottom sixers. Chiarot is not having the best year so he's not worth 2 first round picks. He's worth a first at max. Also the last time the blues dealt a first round pick for a rental was in 2014. So easy pass from the blues

IMO STL is one of the teams that doesn't need to pay to upgrade their D. It's pretty solid. If a deal that's hard to pass up comes along they'll do it, but I think they're pretty comfortable where they are. They won't be paying 2 really good prospects to add depth, especially since their top 3 D positions are already filled quite nicely.

Regarding Chiarot, some team will pay a first rounder or very good prospect at the deadline with 50% retention, but that's about as much as they'll get unless there is more pieces invloved.

Chiarot is terrible this season and isn’t even worth a second all he brings is physicality, below average offence and defence
