100%. I'd imagine that you'd send him free little caesars for life with this one tears of joy

he is just over a point a game player this year and is a ghost in playoffs.... marner is over paid and they need cap space for years to come or mathews is gone, pick your poison
let me guess you want seider raymond and 4 1st`s. lol
the trade might not be quite enough add another pick or depth player but seider is untouchable at this point

No thats crazy lol thats what I would demand in a Matthews or Mcdavid trade since they are both franchise talents but Marner is a very good player and ik he's casper the ghost in the playoffs but hes a core piece to this leafs team and I would imagine Seider is a core piece to Detroits future.

I know he struggled last years playoffs but the year before that him and Matthews were both good and the first series against Boston he was the Leafs best player. There was a lot to be desired last year but 25 points in 32gp in the playoffs isn't smth to scoff at. That being said I think Seider is about as untouchable as it gets he's unreal and the clear Calder favorite imo.

toronto has plenty of offense, why not gain on the back end save 5 million and put that towards campbell or he will walk as well, thoughts?

He might as he's the flashiest player, I don't think he should though Seider is more important to the Wings then Zegras is to the Ducks. Seider is pretty much a legit #1 dman already, I think his impact on the game is much larger then the other candidates.

I just don't think the upgrade Hronek is on D outweighs the downgrade from Zadina to Marner, it doesn't make the team better. If Marner is dealt it will be in the off-season. The 5 mil of extra cap space does us no good at the deadline as teams contending usually add, not get rid of 1st liners. Too many moving pieces required to hope to be able to use that cap space at the deadline.

Why do people keep saying Marner is a ghost in the playoffs 32 games 25 points. Last year he had 1 less point then Matthews. People need to look at the stats before they make a opinion on the 4th leading scorer in the league last year.
