They are going to be aggressively retooling which means they want to get back in to the playoffs without having to rebuild for 3-5 years. Trading Hart for futures isn't going to help Philly get back in to the playoffs, also Philly hasn't had a franchise goaltender in decades so there's no chance they are getting rid of him.
