CHI would have to look at this seriously. Would BOS really be willing to drop a 2nd with Debrusk in the package though? Just doesn't seem like its a huge need when your just playing him as a winger on the 3rd line.

I understand it, just didn't know where to play him since the bruins top 6 looks really good. I've seen others do the same trade and play him higher. DeBrusk also wants a trade out and he probably evens with Strome. Problem is Debrusk isn't a definite to resign and he could just sit as a third liner so the second is to try and sell DeBrusk to Chicago.

Strome has looked really good recently. His FA% has increased and his defensive game has improved albeit still needs more work but there has been some good signs with Strome in recent time. I do still think he could be traded if the right offer comes and if CHI thought they could re-sign DeBrusk then they could look at this.

Don't see Boston adding a 2nd to that trade. 1 for 1 seems better

BOS definitely has to throw a pick in for this trade, thinking not quiet as high as 2nd, I’d be happy with 3rd or 4th and JD for Strome. And I strongly believe bruins should pull the trigger for it if that’s what it takes.

As far as position, I mean you have to try Strome at 2C in Boston, he’s proven he can elevate his game when playing with more skilled players, similar to Haula, it’s honestly a cheap gamble and worse comes to worse you throw him down to 4C, little pricey for 4C but he’s worth it IMO and it’s not worse then paying a 3LW 3.6m

And I know everyone going to say he’s not a 2C, already been there multiple times, his play last few years doesn’t warrant him playing 2C I agree but I think he plenty capable of providing everything haula does and more currently and personally think he would turn out better the more he plays with hall and pasta,

Also been told he’s a defensive liability and numbers don’t lie he’s definitely not great two way player but think that’s an aspect of his game that can be worked on to be improved, no he’s not going to be the best at it ever but , making his line mates aware can help mitigate that as well

K sorry I’m done, short form I think it’s worth gamble for BOS to make this happen

They won’t. 4th. Maybe a 3rd.

Nor do they add a 3rd when Reilly has more value than MoJo.

Zboril is out for the year so I don’t see them moving Reilly during the season unless DeBrusk trade brings back a LD

I forgot zboril was out. Might fix this a little and do that bc Reilly's cap hit is too much for what he is and what he's playing

Thats what I thought. I don't see CHI doing a straight swap anymore.
