Vegas obviously needs cap space, and I do agree that they will make moves at some point to rectify this, but I don’t see why Detroit would accept this deal. They’re not really a playoff team, so paying a 2nd round pick to take on 2 older players on big contracts doesn’t make a ton of sense. But that’s just my opinion!

Yeah I don’t think Vegas is in a position to get value back while seeking a cap dump.

They don’t have leverage.

Martinez would be nice to insulate our left side rookies but not worth paying for at that age and our timeline. Dadonov youd have to pay to move.

If anything Vegas is going to PAY to get cap. Not get paid to lose cap...

Yeah I'm not sure Detroit would either but I'm just try to feel out values here. Id like Martinez as a stop gap on our blue line and I'd take dadonov to make it work. I'd take smith if vegas would rather move him than dadonov.

I agree with this. I don’t think the 2nd is needed here

I think you could get away with Detroit getting the two for everyone’s good friend ‘Future Considerations’

The value of Martinez is meh and you have to pay to g ehh rid of the Dadonov contract so that’s why I think they even each other out
