holloway! thats the oilers number one prospect... for a abackup goalie!!! the oilers already have 3 backup goalies if they are going to trade for a goalie they will trade for a starter. thats the worst trade ive ever seen silly vancouver fans ig

Dude, that Oilers trade is flat out delusional. You're not getting Holloway, and certainly not for an old back-up G. Like what???

On the other hand, there's no need whatsoever to give up Poolman in that Ritchie trade. He's a pure cap dump and the 4th might actually be too low to cover it.

If i'm not mistaken his QO will be higher than $6M AAV and with our cap situation we just cannot afford that.

Nope. Look at Halak's contract - he has several large bonuses that are set to vest, which will impact next year's already tight cap situation.

Little wonder every single Vancouver AGM has him being moved for picks!
