Price for Graves

Description
What would be the price for Graves?

I feel like Chychrun may get a little too expensive in the end, and Graves would give us the shutdown LHD to help our top-4 and penalty kill.

makes no sense for nj to trade him but he cost a 2nd + a younger roster player when the avs had very few options to trade him prior to the expansion draft. i think he'd be worth at least 2nd + b prospect now.

Depends on if New Jersey thinks he's part of the core with Severson, Smith and Hamilton. Chychrun would be ideal but probably would take Turcotte or Vilardi/Grans/High Pick to get it done.

Its gotta be closer to a 1st.
Got him relatively cheap and has been solid throughout this season.
There's little reason for NJD to move him at this point, so the offer's gotta be quite good to pry him away.

yea i think they plan on keeping him. hamilton and severson are on the right with only smith on the left. he shouldn't be too expensive to re-sign.

I’m confused as to why Graves is in the same convo as Chychrun. LAK should be in on Chychrun because he’s super high end and they have assets to burn, not because he fills some esoteric roster need like going after Graves would.

Devils have no need to trade Graves as LD prospects aren’t ready yet. But Siegenthaler’s emergence as our top shut-down LD makes a Graves deal possible.

If we dealt him, it would likely be for another player. We wouldn’t just dump him for picks.
