How about Colton Sissons from Nashviille? I get that he's not a rental, but we could flip him for other assets in the summer or next TDL if our prospects mature.

Just from the Toronto standpoint, I don't know how you are going to fit in Matthews at 11.6, Tavares at 11, Marner at 10.6, Forsberg at 8.35, Reilly at 7.5, Nylander at 7. That's 56 million on 6 players, which leaves a third of the cap to fill in 15-16 players.

JAD profiles as an energizer bunny playing on the bottom 6 and PK, on that end he's on track to be a full time player next season.
Vilardi is still learning the defensive end, but he has positional versatility.
Kupari has a similar trajectory to Kempe, not a fit at C but could be a 20-20 player on the wing

Yeah agree but Dickinson hasn't scored double digit goals in his career at any point and we already have a ton of penalty killers on our squad. We have Kupari, Anderson-Dolan, Vilardi in our pipeline ready to go.
I'd propose to you
J.T Miller for Helge Grans, Gabriel Vilardi, Lias Andersson and a 2022 First Rounder

From a Kings perspective, Kupari will be playing wing for sure and Turcotte may end up there too. Chytil doesn't even play center full time for NYR anymore.
I'll take Kopitar and Tavares over Strome any day,

Depends on if New Jersey thinks he's part of the core with Severson, Smith and Hamilton. Chychrun would be ideal but probably would take Turcotte or Vilardi/Grans/High Pick to get it done.

Werenski Trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Joekings09</b></div><div>This is as close to an accurate roster next season as I’d believe they go with. Of course there’s trade speculation in the air about Quick but if it’s possible to make a playoff push this season then I don’t see why they can’t keep him and he either is taken by Seattle or they could trade him in the offseason. Secondly, if they are doing a playoff push then why not do a trade that has long term implications, like adding a Laine or Mantha. I don’t necessarily believe we need these players but they could benefit the organization and give us a more complete roster than before. Naturally Brown and Carter’s contracts are up after next season so that would open up some spots for younger players like Kaliyev, Kupari, or ****emo etc. if they don’t bring either back which they may do Brown on one year contracts but I wouldn’t believe they’d do the same for Carter. I digress, but overall it’s definitely a solid roster and makes me excited for the rest of this season and the seasons to come</div></div>
For me, I'd prefer if Carts retired. Love him as a fan, but it's time. Excited to see Kaliyev score 20 goals as a rookie, he has that kind of ability. I'd pass on Laine. Too many issues with 2 different teams now.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NoWah49</b></div><div>that is quite a lot, Columbus can't say no</div></div>
Gotta overpay for someone who's not openly on the block
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>tryger</b></div><div>Way too much for the Kings to give up, Kings have tons of cap space and should just sign a vet until whatever LD they pick with their first-rounder is ready.</div></div>
I'd go with a proven commodity, draft picks are like lottery tickets. I mean look at Clague, hasn't panned out yet. Of course one failed pick doesn't mean they all are gonna fail, I'd just prefer a proven player and Werenski's still young
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MNKingsFan</b></div><div>I think I offered a deal with Turcotte in it a few weeks ago. Watching him now, you can’t trade him. Turcotte, Kaliyev, and Byfield are dominating in Ontario right now. Kupari could be moved for the right price, but he looks like he’s rounding into form also. Mikey Anderson is a nice stop gap for now. There’s no need to sell the farm at this point.</div></div>
Do you think CBJ will take Vilardi instead? I'd rather not move Kupari, because he's so versatile as a C/RW option like Carter. I'm more concerned about Bjornfot, I think Mikey's proven he's at least a #4. Toby may still need a year, and any playoff team needs 3 very good D-men. We have Drew and Roy. I'm not really sold on Walker being a part of our future D-core, he doesn't really drive the 2nd PP unit at all and to me he kind of caps out as a 3rd pairing puck mover.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Gmonwy</b></div><div>I think you should protect Werenski. Why wouldn't you?</div></div>
The trade is done on draft night, 2 days after the expansion
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>littlejerryseinfeld</b></div><div>that seems like an awful lot for werenski</div></div>
Werenski's a top pairing D-man. Plus I'm getting them to take Maatta's contract, so that's gonna cost me a little.

A few more pieces
St Louis trade - The package probably doesn't get you close to Tarasenko (a 40-goal guy), and Brown's contract is awful even thought he's on 61 points. They are definitely not giving us Edmundson and retaining on Vlad for that package.
Nashville trade - Nashville already has 4 good D-men, and they need to pay Ryan Ellis soon. They are definitely not giving us picks with Fiala. If we wanted Fiala it would be something like Anderson-Dolan, Mikey Anderson and a 1st for Fiala. That's what it would take to get a top-6 LW with top end speed, and who's on an ELC.

He'd make your blueline better, but probably not gonna move the needle that much. Don't really feel like Detroit should take on anymore long term deals. You guys have so many: Abdelkader, Helm, Zetterberg, DeKeyser and Nielsen. Larkin is due for an extension as well. (I like Larkin a lot by the way) A Martinez to Detroit trade would probably require LA to take one the aforementioned contracts, and I'd probably only consider Helm's. It'll be interesting to see what Ken Holland does.

Keep Fleury
I know MAF is a very good goalie, but I feel that Pittsburgh should be looking to the future. That future is with Matt Murray in goal. I know it is an unpopular opinion, but no sense keeping a 32 year old goalie who's going to decline over a very good 22 year old starter who can only get better. Hope they don't make the same mistake my team did (Too much loyalty to aging stars)

Not bad, but that's two very hefty contracts for your second pairing.
Doan is not coming to LA. Maybe we could get Kunitz or get King back for the 4th line, bumping Lewis to 3rd line LW.
