You will have to do your quick rebuild without Dallas.

I don’t want Petry near Dallas. We have enough Vets and bad contracts.

And we want our leaders to act when our goaltenders gets destroyed.

To be honest I wouldnt touch Petry either (Would not touch him without retention), no matter the team, but it seems like he still have value around the league. Plus, if you guys lose klinberg your GM might do it.

If you give the choice I would rather finish the season with Klingberg with the risk of losing him for nothing than trading for Petry.

Yeah if you keep him for sure, but you might trade him before TDL which is why im making this trade in the first place.

I believe that if Nill trades him it means that we are out of the playoffs pictures so we don’t need Petry.

If we are in the playoffs picture, my guess is that Nill hangs on Klingberg in order to secure the playoffs spot and save his job.

So either way, we don’t need Petry.

Vegas needs to do a bunch but parting with Stephenson won't be one of them. His productivity for his cheap deal is just what they need.

Depends how you see it, when Eichel is comming back Stephenson is gonna be 3rd C. He wont contribute as much so maybe they would want to trade him when his value is at his best? I do agree that he have a good contract, but they will have to make tough trade to be under the cap. No team is going to do them a favor.

They have a lot of moves to make so I'm not sure what the lines look like after. He's out played karlsson but that karlsson smith marchy line has been a staple for years. Its gonna be interesting. If they do sell Stephenson teams will be lining up.

Well this TDL/Off Season will for sure be interesting to follow. Really curious to see how teams like Tampa and Vegas are gonna do.

Why is Vegas trading away a 3rd of their top 6?

? Dadonov is behind Stone and Smith with a 5 millions contract. Toffoli is a better player compared to Smith and cheaper. And Stephenson drop 3rd C when Eichel is comming back.

These vegas trades keep getting more and more hilarious. Why on earth would we trade Stephenson? Then add in Korczak and Dean?! Get outta here with this lol

Why would Stephenson drop to 3C when he's clearly outperforming Karlsson. This trade is so bad for Vegas

What exactly makes Toffoli better than Smith?

I understand the idea that Vegas is in a cap trouble, but come on, they won't be trading an entire line of players as well as two good prospects for basically two equal players to what they're giving up. It just doesn't make any sense.

Just make it Dadonov for a third and call it a day. No need to make it too crazy.

No way a team take his contract for a 3rd knowing Vegas cap problem.

Why not? It's a mutually beneficial trade. Team get a decent player for their top-6 at way below market price.

If his performance was bad then yes they'd have to pay, but I don't see why a team who would need a winger would go out their way declining a pretty favorable deal just because they don't want to "help" Vegas.
