We aren't trading dumba. If dumba becomes available, it will be in the offseason. But most likely fiala will be traded over dumba. A contender like wild aren't going to trade a top 4d like dumba during their successful season

If they trade Fiala in the offseason it will just be his rights which isn't going to command much return.

This is so wrong, sam Reinhart just went for a 1st and more. To say fiala wouldn't command much is blatantly misleading

Plus Reinhart had made it clear he didn't want to stay with the Sabres. His value was at an all-time low

It's hard to fathom the Pens would make a significant trade with the Caps, but let's say they would, I'm not sure you have parts we need that make sense. I'd say maybe Hathaway and a 2nd since Hextall would like to get a little bigger and more physical.

You aren't. You just saw what sam Reinhart went for, or how dumb Rangers were because they wanted a certain player, so they accepted a 2nd round pick, so you are wrong

Sam went for the hottest goal tender prospect right now and a first. Kevin will get Lower than that

Dumba would be traded in the offseason. We want to have him for our playoff run.

But I'd guess the price would be somewhat similar to what Rasmus Ristolainen got, which was the 14th pick and Robert Hagg

Fiala is too inconsistent, too one-dimensional. He's going to command a high dollar deal that Minnesota cannot afford. Any team trading for his rights is going to have all the leverage in the world, he might return a 2nd and B prospect.

Fiala was playing with the worse players on wild, and has been on a 12 game point streak since playing with boldy. If you think teams are going to have leverage because of some false reasoning you are wrong. and you just skipped over the part where Rangers got a 2nd because they wanted a certain player right?

According to you guys? Sam Reinhart price was at an a time low because he wanted out and wasn't coming back, made his demands known. Stop acting like you know more than teams, just like Zucker wasn't supposed to get a 1st and Calen addison right? Rangers got a 2nd round pick because they were upses with a certain player from st Louis

He will get a first. But he will not get a better prospect than Levi

Again Sam Reinhart wanted out and every team knew that. Fiala wants to come back, and sign for cheap but wants long term contract. If fiala gets offered a long time deal from wild, it's a wrap

Fiala is not going to sign cheap and Minnesota is so cap-strapped it isn't funny. Sorry but Wild have little leverage in a Fiala trade.

Fiala literally wants to stay in Minnesota. you have no idea what you are talking about. He's willing to sign for cheap but wants long term. you might want to do your research: it was wild who took him to Arbitration, not the other way around. Yeah, you are showing you know nothing about trade values just like how Buffalo didn't have leverage in Rasmus or Sam Reinhart trade right? Rangers allowed themselves to be so smitten with Samuel B, they got a 2nd round pick

And it was made clear wild aren't trading dumba right now. A Choice will be made between dumba and fiala in offseason

Let me get this right.
You think the penguins would trade with WSH when they are both heading to the playoffs.

I just wanted to know the price. Doesn’t mean if it could happen. Someone said Hathaway and a second.

so the pens would send you a top 6 winger for a 4th liner? and a pick that doesn't help them going to the playoffs this year.

Yeah no.
They aren't here to help WSH win a cup.

Hathaway can play anywhere in the lineup if needed.
