Really? What would it take to get Varlamov in addition to Koskinen?
Yamo to Kraken has huge upside for them, plus he's from WA they'd love that.
Chiarot I have no idea, but I don't see them getting a first. Habs definitely need a PP QB.

Habs would rather have futures for their pending UFA Chiarot. Barrie could be going the other way for a player with term - Hoffman or Armia.

The Isles trade is not far off, ideally it is a 1st with Koskinen or 2 2nds. Safin is not an attractive prospect at this point as he seems like a AHLer, maybe 3rd pairing in the NHL.

Oilers won’t move Barrie this soon after he signed a very team friendly deal to stay. Not for a pending ufa that isn’t as good. No offence to chariot decent player but Barrie did just lead all d in points last year and has a long history of solid production.
I could see yam on the block I’m just not sure oilers would want to bring in another forward with term to replace him if he’s moved it’s likely to open opportunities for internal options such as Holloway or lavoie or Bourgault.
Islanders trade is interesting two issues tho we don’t know mike smiths future yet and bringing in a goalie with term is complicated by skinner not being waiver exempt next year. Also the deal would need to be adjusted because that pick is still attached to the Keith trade conditions.

If you took out Koskinen it would be close, but he's probably got less than no value to the Islanders. There are a number of teams that need goaltending and Varlamov is very well regarded and affordable. He also has a NTC, so I doubt he'd go to Edmonton.

Montreal's starting a rebuild, they don't need a 30 year old PP specialist that doesn't play defence. And they don't need Rodrigue.

The Seattle one is a little close, I just think you might need to throw something in for taking Turris.
