Why do Montreal fans keep trying to trade Perreault to the Avs? I'm genuinely curious. It seems so random and I see it almost daily.

I haven't noticed, but it's not a bad idea. He's a versatile veteran with experience playing in the division. Not going to do much better for inexpensive depth for the playoffs.

It's always for a 5th or 6th round pick so the value is never bad. If I woke up tomorrow and the trade was completed, I'd have no complaints.

Just interesting that I see it pop up so frequently.

Yeah it's almost like the 'to any team' added is a smoke screen, as it's always the Avs he's sent to.
