In short. No.

If we are trading Helle it is a full rebuild and Severson's age and the fact that we already have DeMelo, Pionk, Schmidt and Kovacevic on the right side makes him not a desirable piece to us at this time.

If we traded Helle it would be for your 2022 1st overall pick (unprotected) and that is only if the Jets decide to do a major rebuild.

Unfortunately, Blackwood is nowhere near his peak trade value.
Maybe its a year from now, maybe it was last year.
But its not now.

We are best holding onto him until he recovers.
