Didn't think I'd ever say this, but the way he's played this year there's no way Ottawa moves him. Forsberg has been good as well this year, but he's a UFA and you're not going in next year with Forsberg and Gustavsson as the duo. Forsberg should definitely be available at the deadline though.

Wouldn’t this be the best time to trade him? His play is so good you can dump him for free… seems like a win since he was free before and no one wanted him

Personally I think Ottawa rolls with Murray and Gus next year and look to deal Forsberg at the deadline.
That said, if we were to trade him a, second in 22 or 23 and either one of Vanecek/ Samsonov that we can flip to a team like Edmonton or Arizona for a first
