Because young players having a down year means they're 100% trash for some reason.

First, love the idea of building from back out. 100% what NJD should be doing.

Second, keep Blackwood...and sign Campbell or another FA goalie. MackBlack needs to compete for job.

Third, probably too much in Garland deal.

Lastly, I would add Garland or Trocheck (not both). Gotta save some dry powder to re-sign Severson.

Maybe Samsonov from Wash?
Trade PK there for Iorio and an add take back 2 of Kempny/Schutlz/Copley
Garland for PZ and Janne maybe take back a sm contract
Lindholm is fine but if your addressing another LHD shoot for Chychrun because of the contract

No Garland trade has Zacha has one of the main pieces NJ would have to add alot more

I would rather keep Johnsson and Blackwood. Having them on the team helps us a lot more than a 5th and 3rd round picks.

I wouldn’t sign Trochek. Would rather someone such as Nichushkin who would cost cheaper and still add plenty of production.

Not sure what happened to Zacha but if we are getting Garland, I’m pretty confident Zacha would be one piece going the other way.

I’d rather Kuemper over Campbell but I can see the argument for Campbell.

Why would Vancouver accept that? Garland is the better player and is cost controlled for another 4 years where Zacha is an rfa and walk after next offseason
