PHL isn't trading him to PIT to begin with. Any real flyers fan knows that.

Giroux lands in Colorado, return is likely what you have here or close to it

I can see Colorado, but I don't even think they need him, unless Kadri has another meltdown in the Playoffs. The team I think he fits is Minn., they want a rental & can use him. As for Boston, & disappointingly for SJ, I think Hertl is gone & they will look for him to be their top C for the next 5 years.

Probably not enough for the Flyers to trade him within the division to NY.
Unless they want Nemeth, but he has negative value right now.

I don't know the NYR like you, but from the outside, it seems the need a RW more then a C? That's why I think Kessel will end up there, & I don't think it will cost them as much.

While fair, our gm doesn't have any interest in trading 1st round picks or prospects for rentals

Flyers would rather not trade him than trade him to Pittsburgh. Also the Boston one and New York ones seem pretty low value wise

Everyone who says he doesn't go to Pittsburgh, why not? If it's cap, I think Kapanen has to come back. If it's because they are our rival, that's just dumb. Giroux is a one year player. They can't sign him, Malkin, Letang, and Rust again next year. Unless he plays out of his mind, he's not back there. If Giroux wants to go there (remember the GM is Hextall, I don't see any report that Hextall and G didn't get along), he earned the right to choose. Besides, Fletcher should worry about the best return. I don't care who he goes to as long as it is a strong return.
