That top 3 pick should be the only asset in Montreal that isn’t for sale. Under any condition (realistic).

Too Rich for either team to consider. IMO.

I know it's a whishfull dream but somehow both can win in this trade and I wonder if both GM are fools enough to shake the hockey temple. Habs fills many need and retool, Rangers get discount cup run players and a top3 pick.

Ignoring the values, the thing to remember about it is that New York has plenty of cap space this season, so I'm not sure why they'd pay a premium to get retention.

If you say so. Lehky is a top 5 two way forward and a killer beast on pk and forecheck on a friendly contract ... The retention have a lot to do ... and even if Giordano can be seen as a better player than Chiarot I still think biased habs media knotch something cuz 6 months ago with the right team they were cup finalist

! Cap compliance is more valuable that heavy caped player looking for the moon ... and i also give a 1st top 3 in this deal to recapture value ... wich is rare in a habs AGM :P
