Description

Vancouver gets another 1st because of retention, 2 potential young players to hit the roster right away and a 1st for this year.

Arizona- Kessel is a pure rental. A roster player/ d prospect/would be starting goalie/ 1 2nd for Kessel and another 2nd because of nemeth as a salary dump

Buffalo- not a necessary deal in my eyes because I like Jones and Schneider, but if Drury is enamored with getting a veteran presence for the 3rd pair something like Butcher should be the move imo.

Vancouver takes that. Doubt NYR giving up two 1sts though. More likely a lesser pick or prospect.

Buffalo would take that deal.
Butcher just did not fit into the Granato system and I guess the Devils wanted to move him out.
Prior to this season Will produced .45 pts/gm, he could do it again for the Rangers given the opportunity.
