Doesn't he only have 1yr left on his contract?
Yeah, I know it's a lot to ask for him, but I don't need to move him because he is the best defensive defenseman in the leauge + he has an insanely low cap hit.
That's why I'm asking a lot.
Ok, assuming Werenski would be the only player of interest for you? In that case I'd obviously have to say no thanks lol

It'd have to be another top 4 left d man and some to consider. You know the huge value I have on ZW haha

I wouldn't be willing to give up anymore than Vlasic and Morrissey for Werenski, and even then I'd have to think about it.

Ok, I'm expecting my assistant to turn that down as well (I would too) but I'll ask just to make sure.

I'd personally want a forward prospect as well because Werenski is essentially a Erik Karlsson who's younger and cost controlled and locked up for a decade. That's almost more valuable than EK himself in my mind.
I was also saying the "I wouldn't either" part as a joke cause my assistant is the biggest Werenski fan on planet earth (see his username ?) lol

If you'd turn down Vlasic and Morrissey for Werenski, what are you asking me then???
I'd personally want a forward prospect as well because Werenski is essentially a Erik Karlsson who's younger and cost controlled and locked up for a decade. That's almost more valuable than EK himself in my mind.
I was also saying the "I wouldn't either" part as a joke cause my assistant is the biggest Werenski fan on planet earth (see his username ?) lol
If you value Werenski that much I think I'd be better off going after someone else, I probably don't fully understand you valuation of Werenski because I've never really seen him play.

That's fair, it's always tough to place a value on someone when you've never seen them play. And I'm not looking to move ZW anyway so it's no biggie ??

If you really want an offer...rights to Mary McCormick for Karlsson? Although you may not have the "budget" for her
