I don't think Tampa does the first one and the Jets should avoid trading a good defenseman for an underperforming winger in the second trade.

Demelo’s current play is a large reason why Morrissey is playing so well. I wouldn’t want to move him until Morrissey builds up the confidence to play this way consistently. I also don’t think the pens would do that.

Copp should be kept as an own rental in my opinion. Foote is nothing really special tbh. Really like Samberg, good stabilizing guy with some potential, but not enough to move copp. I would rather resign him.

If the jets move into a playoff spot in the next few days, they should look into getting a guy like appleton back. Or another 3rd line rw to improve the 3rd line. I really like what reichel has done, but he’s better suited for a 4th line role at this point in his career

Lightning don't do that trade. They need to keep Foote for the low salary. Copp isn't worth all that as a rental.

Very little chance that Copp resigns, with 91 now in the top nine and eventually 27 back in lineup that moves Reichel down I like him over Vesalaninen he plays like he wants to stay in NHL as far as 44 playing better I actually don't see it I've been to the last two games and overall better team defense and puck pressure are more the reason for improved play of team. Foote might not be anything special but I suspect he will be a serviceable RHD and also that's why TB has to also give up a 1st. Kapanen, Lowry and Stastny would be a decent third line.

Jets are playing better and if they do sneak in ahead of Ana or kings they likely have a first round date with the Avs odds of getting past them isn't great so was trying to see what could be done to recoup something for Copp by getting a few pieces back that could help now, young right D and a pick.

Oooo I like these trades for the Jets, not sure the other teams do them though, no one will want Beaulieu so just send him to the minors if you really need the cap space.

Did you look at TB s roster that trade puts them 1injury from having to use Sustr or Cleasson or Darren Raddysh on d in a threepeat run ,do you think that's a smart idea for them ? Julian Brisebois has done nothing to make me Believe he's going to put TB in that bad a position

Bogosian?

They get Copp and loose Foote. Their blue line depth becomes Hedman, McDonagh, Sergachev Rutta, Cernak, Bogosian, Cleasson,Sustr, Raddysh
1 injury away from having to use Sustr Raddysh or Cleasson

Tampa may be interested in Copp, but not at this price. More than likely Brisebois is looking to acquire a middle 6 F and/or RD depth, but the F is likely to be one that has term or is one that is an RFA that Tampa is confident they can re-sign. As there is no chance that they could keep Copp, Tampa may not look there. If they did, I could see a 1st+one of Raddysh/Katchouk, for Copp at 50%, and then Tampa would still have to have a 3rd team lined up to eat another 900k of Copp for like a 4th. In addition, Tampa would then need to move Foote for value(draft pick+prospect probably), then acquire a ufa RD retained for cheap(Braun maybe). It would.require several moves, but it's not impossible. The tdl looks luke a buyers market this year, so 1st+Raddysh/Katchouk is probably as high as Tampa would consider. I see Tampa looking at someone like Crouse, Hagel(if he's actually made available and Tampa is willing to pay up), or another winger that can help replace the likely loss of Killorn or Palat next season that Tampa can sign.
