JVR, Bozak, and Hornqvist have expiring contracts. Pens will need some of that money to resign some of the young blood. Then, they will still have some money to make a run at some FAs (Grabner - less expensive version of Hagelin if he cools off some next season?, resign Bozak?)

I don't think it makes sense for the Leafs. I think if that pick changed to a second it would be better. Not sure the leafs have any interest in Kuhnackl

jvr and bozak are important members of the leafs, so why trade them. hagelin is a unwanted cap dump and maatta as a long term LHD isn't that much of a desired need by the Leafs. still hoping that Fleury and his 5.75m are taken by vegas, if not it ruins your ufa signings.
