Description
This was a rough guess at what the Sabres may do in the offseason. These trades are my rough estimates at potential trades. For that reason, if I have messed up, please give me feedback in the comments for future reference.

BUF-CGY Explanation:
The Sabres need goaltending, its no secret. Vladar is very serviceable, but also expendable with Dustin Wolf's progress with Stockton this season. The Sabres use the acquired pick from the Vinnie Hinostroza trade at the deadline to give Calgary the same return they gave to acquire him.

BUF-PHI Explanation:
Philly is selling and probably rebuilding for the long term. The Sabres supposedly are interested in Konecny. In return, the Flyers get Ryan Johnson, who in my opinion, is a very underrated LD prospect that has been pushed down the ladder due to the Sabres surplus at the position. They get Mittelstadt as well, who has shown good flashes, and has great playmaking ability.

BUF-CHI Explanation:
This was a gamble. I truthfully didn't really know the price of Dylan Strome, so I traded a 2nd. I'd be willing to change the price for a future ACGM, since it was more of a jumping off point/estimate.

BUF-ARZ/ANA/NSH
Could be with anyone, as they are all deadline moves from the 21-22 deadline

Ok, what would potentially make the Flames accept?

Unless Wolf is ready(I think he will need one more year) he isn't available

Calgary is under no obligation to rush Wolf, especially before Vladar hits RFA and their upcoming cap crunch. I would also not accept less than a 2nd for him. His value has gone up since the summer

I would think + some if Strome continues at 0.5ppg pace for remainder of the season on this poor team.

I think if CHI gets rid of Strome, they will want a prospect coming back with whatever they get. This all depends on who the new GM is and what they decide to do with the team though. If they want to do a long Haul rebuild, they might be fine with just an early 2nd.

I wouldn't even do it for a 2nd. Vladar is a capable backup at 750k, we wouldn't be able replace him with someone of his capability for less than $2m. I love Wolf, but if he's not ready, we need a backup plan.

Can't imagine buffalo gives all that up for TK.
Maybe that's the right value in order to get him but it would be foolish to send that many assets.

I think their move for a top 6 wing is going to be done via UFA or finding a team in need of cap relief and offering a bevy of picks w/o prospects.
