He has arbitration rights, so he's as good as a rental. Plus, Rangers have no need for him. 50% of his goals in his career has been on the PP and he won't get any time on the Rangers 1st PP unit, which plays at least 1.5 minutes of every 2 min PP, so his offense production will drop on the Rangers, his defensive is suspect, he doesn't block shots and he hits nobody. No need for Hagg either as he isn't an upgrade on what they have already.

Yup. I would be on board doing this if I knew how to afford his extension.
