Description

Don’t worry about the lines. Just a fully healthy lineup with some different looks and a different order on D.

Zucker-ERod-Kap is analytically one of the Pens best lines this season for what it’s worth.

Think of this as just the pick for Forsberg. Don’t get caught up in the roster space swap of Domingue.

*Ottawa has the option between this pick or a 2025 3rd round pick.

Domingue serves as a third goalie option for Ottawa in case of injuries. They don’t take back any cap as they would with DeSmith. Gustavsson gets to play without question. The deal is about the pick and Domingue serves as a roster spot swap. DeSmith would also be a good third goalie option in case of injury for the Pens if something were to happen (think of Zatkoff) if he weren’t to be claimed on waivers.

Yeah this is if Ottawa was willing to sell. The thing is, Gustavsson does not have waiver exemption next year so they’d risk losing someone on waivers next year. Just a trade idea to think about for my fellow Pens fans. Thanks for the comment!

I’d love to have Murray if it wasn’t for that contract, even with 50% retained. Now maybe if two teams retained 50% each but that gets complicated lol

FWIW I don't think you'd have to worry about passing DeSmith through waivers if you waited til TDL to make this move - you can carry extra guys from that point on, just still only dressing 20.

Yeah I thought the same thing but in all honesty I didn’t want someone to blast me in the comments saying I’m stupid for risking losing DeSmith on waivers lmao
