First 2 offers might get accepted, that doesnt come close to winning the Giroux sweepstakes

Kessel has been offered around the league 50% retained for a 3rd round pick, no takers. Furthermore, boston hates kessel. Furthermore, kessel hates boston. Still furthermore, Boston doesn’t need wingers.

Bad fit.

I feel like this board has collectively gone crazy. Look back at what rentals get. Not a lot get a 1st and 2nd.

Sure but Hall (to ARI) and Duchene were last rentals of at least somewhat similar to Giroux caliber moved at the deadline.

Any team can offer a pair of scratch tickets, Philly isn't blowing up, they want closer to NHL ready quality prospects. Hence why they are scouting Justin Barron

I think we can all agree that columbus acted like drunken sailors at that deadline. I don’t think a big market team repeats those mistakes. That reeked of, “this is literally our only chance of the last decade, and probably the next decade to make a run. Lets do it.”

If Giroux won the MVP recently, I would agree that Hall was comparable
