I'd be all over that deal from a Jets perspective.

It’s going to be difficult, maple leafs need to have constant quality goaltending, a defence that gels, plus a coach that willing to change things up when a line is flat.i really do believe they have the pieces but getting them to believe is another story, Carolina,Tampa,Calgary St. Louis are bigger so it will be difficult.

no, engvall help cap space and is a good roster with RFA this summer so you can sign him. You can replace Niemelä by a pick if you want one absolutly

I just don't see the need for him with depth upcoming in our system just seems like a filler player that leaves when he's Ufa that's why I say picks because we can get a younger prospect that may be worst but could address a d need

I don't think you have this luxury when I see Svechnikov and Toninato in the roster

The Jets don't need Engvall and he doesn't have much value, so they would probably ask for a pick instead.

Yes, but money exists and the team needs to balance so they will take Engvall which as value and his a good depth player on your roster with Adam Brooks in the lineup

Sure if an additional pick is added to compensate the Jets.

Compensate what? I give you a downgrade NHL player but still a young NHLer and a good prospect, it's enough for a rental player

For taking Engvall as a cap dump. Niemela is a bare minimum return for Copp, it would probably need to be n Niemela and a pick. Engvall isn't needed at all. So, the Jets can take Engvall as a cap dump of need be, but need a pick added to Niemela and fingering else added for taking Engvall.

The Jets aren't obligated to take cap dumps or minimal returns, so the Jets can just move Copp elsewhere and not take unneeded parts.
