Yeah, we're not paying a first for DeMelo and 2 more years just under $4 mil. Not saying he's not a valuable piece, but he's not a fit capwise. Esp if we're not getting rid of a cap hit past this year.

Am I mistaken, didn't DeMelo get waived by the Leafs?

Somehow now he is worth a first and top 6 winger. Something smells fishy!

Hes never been in Toronto so yes you are mistaken

Demelo would be useful in toronto but the price is a bit steep. 2nd rounder probably gets it done for the Jets.

Wierd, the years are blending together. I could have sworn he was part of a 3-way trade from SJ to Ottawa and Toronto. Totally didn't happen! lol
