While I'd be bittersweet with that return for Fiala (assuming the Ott first is in the 8-12 range) since I'd prefer we keep him, I don't know if he'd cost that much for the Sens. He is on a 100 point pace his past 20 games so if he keeps that up then his price may be around this.

I get Fiala is very good. I get Pierre Dorian has been to Wild games. I don't think that Kevin Fiala is the person that he is after. He spoke very openly about Andrei Kuzmenko as a possible signing and he would make so much sense. I just think that Fiala will be too expensive.

Every GM in the league knows how cap starped the Wild are and I think that the wild will try and keep him and trade someone else. IF he is traded he won't get this return because teams won't offer such as they know Fiala will eventually leave if he does not get his contract and they know that the Wild have no choice but to trade Fiala in some surcumstances so they won't offer such. Also a first and two top center prospects would be an overpayment as that's basically three firsts.

Edit: The bit below the second quote is mine. It just formated weird.

He's a restricted free agent, so wild don't have to trade him. Also, a top C prospect would be like if I remember his name right riley G. You are wrong when you say wild won't get a 1st and c prospect

On the contrary our beat writer has reported the Senators have been interested in Fiala since 2019. Now we obviously can't say whether or not he will be traded to Ottawa, but I think there's a pretty good chance considering Ottawa is probably the perfect trading partner for us. It's just a matter of the assets they're willing to give up.

That's fair, I didn't know that. I think that Ottawa will try and get Andrei Kuzmenko first and then see's what they have. They might then get Fiala if he hasn't signed long term.

That's fair but it won't be Ridly Grieg, he is like a mini Brad Marchand and he plays the way Ottawa wants to play.

I know but there’s 0 chance they’re getting Greig and a top 10 pick

Since this is totally the point of this post, a 3rd for Ennis seems a little much
