SJ and Zona decline which means you don’t make the OTT trade.

Good Philly trade though.

In your opinion what is the ask for Hertl from the Bruins?
What if Hertl names the 3 teams he would accept as Boston, Calgary and Tampa? Only 1 of the three have the space and TH says he has no interest in resigning in SJ.

BOS
Sanford, Zachary ($1,000,000 retained)
OTT
Reilly, Mike
2022 4th round pick (BOS)

There’s no room for Reilly now

Ottawa has
Chabot, Holden, Brannstrom, and Sanderson on the left side
Zaitsev, Zub, Thomson, and JBD on the right side

If they trade Sanford, it’s likely for a pick, although they would probably prefer a 22/23 year old prospect that at least had a chance of NHL games next season.

Where exactly are you getting this info from that he doesn’t want to resign in San Jose? He’s said the exact opposite in multiple media availabilities. And playing the big what if game of the NTCs is pointless because literally nobody knows.

I wouldn’t mind DeBrusk but not as the main piece in a Hertl trade. They’ve asked for a 1st plus a top prospect, either C or RD, which multiple sources have stated is fair. They aren’t taking a late 2nd and an ahler as add ons in a trade with a center piece that doesn’t fit their ask.

sharks if they do trade him want a 1st and a top prospect, boston would most likely be a destination he approves of but you never know.
i like Debrusk but the sharks aren’t going to be competitive till 23/24 at the earliest plus we have plenty of LW abd LHS we need C or RW more so he just doesn’t fit our long term goals

I wasn't trying to say I had info on him not wanting to sign. I was saying if that comes to fruition he could control his destiny. More of a what if.
