I'd much rather to this than the 1,001 TOR cap dumps of Mrazek to CHI. BUT I will say...whomever offers that 1st is likely to get him.

Claude may very well be worth thus, but Guerin has made it clear he's not trading a 1st for a rental.

Rather keep Talbot and our 2nd round pick over one whose struggles this year and playoff struggles for years. It's Why Vegas got rid of him

$7M cap hit and a $5M commitment to Lehner is why Vegas needed to trade him away. Nothing to do with his .920 SV% in the playoffs with Vegas...

Fleury might very well fetch a first just for his name alone. I would offer second for his performance this season though. Plus Cam Talbot who is not a cap dump but rather a tradeable asset for the next tdl. I understand however that Fleury might go into a beast mode in playoffs and is definitely worth a risk.

Vegas got rid of him due to cap situation. He alone eliminated us from the last playoffs. As for Giroux, the one who does not risk, never drinks Champaign.

Cap and he has had numerous playoff struggles. He eliminated us in game 7 in which we were deciminated. I have talked to Vegas fans and seen their comments about him

As for adding: Claude isn't a C. One or two players aren't making a difference on this current wild team. They are 4 points from having Dallas pass them

Im not sure this would be a good move for the Wild but from CHI perspective its not all that bad tho I agree with @exo2769 that CHI would target a 1st as priority.

It's also worth noting that Fleury was on the verge of retiring when he was traded to CHI.

I have a small belief that interpersonal relations between him and Guerin might influence his decision for a one last push.

I think Kadri should sign with the Wild in the off season.

TDL... Kessel would be cheap, and isn't he a former team mate of Guerin.

I think Kadri would be overly expensive. And I also think that this season was just a statistical anomaly for him.

If Kadri cashes in like Duchene and Johansen did by signing him for $8 million they'll regret it by season 2 of the contract.
