I think that’s probably around his value, though with how he’s played recently he could get more. Maybe get Liljegren involved as well somehow as the Canucks like him and need RHD

If it was Liljgren, Knies a first and a second, VAN would probably have to take a cap hit back as well. That's a huge value for him. Not saying he's not worth it, cause he is, but that's very little cap going back and the Leafs can't keep thinking about just the here and now, and this is a lot of future.
