Rumored price is a first and a upper prospect, someone in 18-21 year old range to match up with Dach timeline I would think, depending on their plan may take someone up to 24ish to fit with The CAT if he’s part of their plan

Yeah Chicago would not be smart if they took either of those 2 over Kapenan. Legare especially would probs not even be close as 7 goals and assists in 44 games is not a needle mover.

Getting a useful player and a 1st seems like the smarter move.

okay cool but kapanen is 25 and an rfa who I'm sure wants to get $4m+ on his next deal and the hawks are not doing that

Ya I got a feeling Kappy is to old for their system, Davidson said multiple times it was going to be slow and thought out process

if the move hagel its for younger top prospects as theyve said and theyve declined offers for a first and a good prospect a 1st and kapanen will not do it
