Underpaying the Ducks massively.
Arizona will want a big name prospect and are probably asking for Swayman or Lysell.

None of those pieces get either Chychrun or Lindholm, Reportedly Rob Blake is willing to move Alex Turcotte for Jakob Chychrun and that's not going to be beat. The Lindholm trade is even worse. Boston doesn't have the pieces for either player.

Anaheim is getting DeBrusk who can be a 1:1 Rackell replacement (granted the other wing) and is a controlled asset (RFA), and younger.

For Lindholm they get a Top 4 D (played multiple 1st pairing this season), a D prospect (that has also played in the top pairing in Boston). More than enough for a player they will lose for nothing . The 2nd is for salary cap.

For some reason, I don’t see Chychrun getting the super return people are expecting. Maybe I’m wrong, but this is where I’m starting the conversation with ARI.

Former 1st rounder who has found his game in the AHL. Back to the goal scorer he is but won’t get played because he requested a trade. Grzelyk who is one of the best skating D in the league, and plays top 4, run a powerplay. He’s not JC, but his contract expires just around the time their prospects around going to start needing raises. 2 more seconds, and the 1st is purposely 2024 because the Bruins will be really weak down the middle if/when Bergy retires, so likely a top 10 pick or better.

Great take on the Anaheim trade!

I don’t see them moving Grzelcyk.
