I kind of doubt the Islanders would part with Pulock. Especially if that 1st late in the round. But maybe I'm wrong. I look forward to seeing what Isle fans think.

And the Canucks aren't even in a playoff spot right now, 4 points back, and Vegas has a game in hand.

Also, it will cost more than a 3rd to get Nick Paul.

If Pageau cost a 1st and a 2nd, Nick Paul is worth much much more than a 3rd.

Agreed, especially because they want to do a quick retool and be in the chase again next year, there in a rock and a hard place because they need to get youngsters into the lineup to energize it but I don't know if Trots will play them.

At the bare minimum Nick Paul costs a 2nd. Probably more if multiple teams are after him.
