ANA would laugh and hang up with that offer. Manson is worth more than everything in that package easily by himself, and Rackell is worth more than that whole package by himself too - therefore, it's no way even close, at all.
Dallas trade heavily favors PIT too although it isn't nearly as bad since they actually need a goalie - just don't you getting Honka from them. Also, think you severely undervalued those contracts for Schultz/Sheary - maybe if they were shorter term you'd get them for that but 5 year deals are going to be tough to lock guys like that up cheap for.

Yeah the Ducks can't protect Manson in the draft so they have to move him somewhere or lose him for nothing. Hornqvist is the best player in the trade. Then to even out the dollars Rakell(another player not protected) for a player who is a younger version of the same guy. Under ordinary circumstances you may be right but there are going to be a lot of trades leading up to the expansion draft that would never have been made if it didn't exist.

Besides being lopsided these trades would do nothing to help either team as they would have to be made before the expansion draft.
If Pens got Manson, Rackell and/or Roussel one of them would be gone to Vegas not Hagelin. Vegas would easily take one of them over hagelin.
The stars are not going to trade Honka as he is their best D prospect. probably the RFA rights to either Nemeth or Oleksiak.
Last why on Earth is Pouliot and Sundqvist getting 2.5million dollar deals!....... Extremely poor contract/cap management and ducks will never take Sundqvist with that salary. Both guys will get the raises that their RFA tenders afford them and thats it.
