I don’t think I could complain about that return as a Ducks fan.

I don't see the Leafs trading Holl unless it's for or they get an upgrade over him on D from another trade.

They should go for Boeser instead. He’s more controllable than Rackell, who’s a UFA this year. Idc if it costs them Kapanen, POJ and a 2nd/1st, it’d be worth it.

I agree but the cap becomes more difficult with him and they would likely need to move Marino (which I’m okay with, give us Schenn.)

Would you agree they are a lot deeper on D than they are at F though? This deal gives them some cap room to make another move.

Trading a good middle 6 winger for a bum is not one of those moves

Oh is this the bozo encouraging people to trade Marino? 🤦🏻‍♂️ I was wondering who that was

Where is the 2nd rounder at least for Rakell?

POJ doesn’t move the needle very much due to a plethora of LD in the system

I don’t disagree with you.

Kapanen and a 2nd I would do as well.

Trading Marino is easier said than done. No team would take his contract right now.

Now on earth is Heinen a “good” middle 6 winger? You have 5 Heinens either in Wilkes or on the bench right now that can do as much (or more) than him. He is extremely expendable and easily replaceable.

And holl is a very good defence man. Physical, but can skate, and is very cheap.
