Everyone declines. Rags win every trade by a mile. Not realistic, rental or not Hertl and Forsberg are high quality pieces that will not be this cheap.

Yikes, so the Rangers don't have the same cap restrictions as the other NHL teams? And certainly the Rangers don't want to over the cap when bonuses are considered.

One guy came up with the Gauthier to MTL and now every rangers fan wants to send him to montreal for lehkonen... mister, it'll take a hell of a lot more for the habs to trade lehkonen okay ?!

This one is particularly bad with the adding of kulak for a 4th 🤣

Kravtsov lundqvist and a 2nd for lehkonen kulak and a 4th (salary retention possible)

Forsberg would cost a 1st and prospect if NSH wasn’t in playoff position. It’s going to cost a lot more than two 2nds with them in playoff position.

Doesn't matter if the Rangers can resign both because they can't, Forsberg and Hertl would cost roughly $17,000,000 combined long term. $9,000,000 per for Forsberg and $8,000,000 per for Hertl. Either way as rentals it's not nearly enough for both players.
