Description

Please make this work. I would give my left quadricep to make this work. I would forgo meat for thirty days and thirty nights to get this to happen.

I think the values are relatively equal, but the question is not if the trades are good, but if the trades make sense and none of these make sense. Not to mention that I don't even know if the three-team trade cap dump thing is still allowed.

Buffalo would want more for retaining 2+ mil on Giroux and trading you Hinostroza with retention as well. A 5th and 7th doesn’t even move the needle

That is an overpayment for Severson, 4 prospects, a meh pick, and an NHLer, cmon now. Pass on trading Suzuki for a rental.

2 million in cap, 250k in real dollars. Probably wouldn’t be too expensive. Giroux has a 4 million salary this season will 3/4 already gone. Then add in the half retention from Philly and then Buffalo’s cut is half of that, 250k.

Add to that you also want Hinostroza whom is himself worth a 4th or so. Retaining on him seems odd but if you desire that his cost goes up further as we'd be using a retention slot for him too.

I'd make 25% of Giroux and Hinostroza trade if you offer a 3rd. I'll even throw in a 7th.

It's a lot of quantity, not quality. Devils already have too many forward/LD prospects to possibly get a look at them all. They should be looking to move some out, not bring some in.
