Yamo/DeBrusk one for one is good enough, no need to add more

Debrusk is certainly better than Yamo. Oilers would have to add. Not quite to the extent of this trade though

That's a whole lot of not much that Boston actually needs for DeBrusk.

It probably gets done one-for-one or with Edmonton adding a touch (do we expect Holland to ever win a trade at this point?) but I personally wouldn't prioritize this deal given what Edmonton already has and has bubbling under on their left side. They need another top-six RW to replace Yamamoto or bump him down to the third line permanently but are slowly growing a small logjam at LW.

Debrusk isn’t the kind of player that should be getting any 6-for-1 offers. Edmonton is a good fit, but i don’t really think they have anything the bruins would want, so a third team would likely need to be introduced.

Major overpay for Jake DeBrusk, Perhaps Yamamoto+3rd round pick for Debrusk that's about it.

Don't really follow either team but EDM is extremely overpaying for DeBrusk

That's an overpay. The team is better off with Yamamoto.

Keep him. I'd rather have Yamamoto. He defends and hits and battles and gives a ****, DeBrusk doesn't. Remember when he got walked by Cody Ceci? I thought that would temper Oilers irrational lust for the broadcasters son, but apparently not. DeBrusk is 3x the cap hit and will be a UFA in the summer. Keep your mediocre Athanasiou wannabe.

I think you’ve seen him play one game this season.

Happily. I hope they keep him for the rest of the season and move him in the off-season. He’s playing awesome.

He'll be a UFA in the summer, but that's a great plan.

Keep Lagesson and Perlini. No interest.

Yammer and a mid round pick would do.

Personally I’d rather they didn’t.

I don’t see Debrusk to Edmonton. Nothing there Boston wants beyond the untouchables.

Not better defensively. He is younger though! No question. And he’s cheaper…this year. If he actually is what you say he is, he won’t be next year, right?

Ok, I didn't say he didn't score. We were talking about DeBrusk, not Yamamoto.

If Boston is willing to pay him $4.4M, they're stupider than I thought. Otherwise, he'll be a UFA.

Yamamoto is a LOT better defensively, he has a motor that's always going and doesn't shy from physicality and board battles. The fact you think Jake DeBrusk, who has been healthy scratched this season for lack of effort, failure to back check and general poor defensive effort, is better defensively shows how little you actually know about these players.

Ergo, your opinion is worthless.

His agent has already said he will sign below his QO, and that he would sign an extension in boston to facilitate a trade.
