That is a very enticing offer. At this point a Miller trade has to blow my socks off and that is very good

Sakic is smarter than that and will not trade away all his picks in the first 4 rounds for rentals

As a fellow Canuck fan, I’m not sure I take anything less. Yes, Newhook has a very very high ceiling, and will be the replacement to Kadri (unless someone else somehow takes that role) but he is the key component of this trade, NOT Byram. As good as he has looked when healthy, he unfortunately isn’t. He’s damaged goods. A wild card. For that reason, it’s gotta be Newhook.
In actuality, I’m hoping we go on a run, and if Miller is to be moved somewhere, it’s at the draft, and out east. Not a western conference team.

It's a great trade for Vancouver. Insanely awful for Colorado though.

Whoa! I can't do these Miller trades anymore. I am not arguing his value, if that's what it takes, fine. But I do not want to spend 2023 free agency watching Miller walk and then it's as if Colorado didn't even show up to the 1st round of the 2019 draft. Especially after watching the Avs draft 4th and 16th in that one.

I feel ya. That’s how I feel as a Canucks fan! We’ve had to many UFA walk away for nothing in the past. Gotta change it up! Lol

Girard isn’t on LTIR. Instant decline for the Avs on the Miller trade.

Also, you traded the Avs top defense prospect, a 2nd line C on an ELC, a top 4 D on an ELC, and every pick within the top 125 picks for the next 3 years for two rentals and a season of JT Miller. That… is not wise.

Oooooohhhh you're a Canucks fan. I was very confused why an Avs fan would offer that considering they are all adamantly against trading either let alone both
