As an Avs fan, that's not even close on Giroux. It'll start with a prospect + 1st.

I'm not so sure. I don't see what Jost adds to this roster, and Behrens is a depth LHD prospect and thus might as well not even be there. I think i'd rather get the expected picks for a retained Domi.

Behrens isn't a "depth" LHD his ceiling is going to be a top 6/top 4 defenceman. He is almost a ppg in D1 for the Uni of Denver and would a little bit lesser value than a guy like Barron.

Jost is the positional player to fill in for domi and has aspirations of becoming what he was projected to be which is some risk to taking him.

I think a deal would be Jost Kaut and a 2nd for domi (50%) if were being realisitic

Behrens isn't a "depth" LHD

Is he top-pairing? Can he challenge Werenski? No? Then he's not useful to the Jackets. Barron is infinitely more valuable to the Jackets than any LHD simply because he shoots right. That's the long and the short of it right now in Columbus.

...that we never asked for and don't need. We have a whole heck of a lot of wingers coming up through the system; there is no shortage of Domi replacements on the wing already here. Jost is only interesting because of the possibility of also playing C... but non-top-line centers are also something we're pretty OK on. Not overflowing like wingers or LD, but we're not exactly hurting there either.

The 2nd is the most interesting part of that package. I don't know much about how Kaut's doing, but his being a winger kind of prejudices his value to Columbus. But that stands a better chance of working than the original, in which all of the value was in the unneeded players rather than the picks.

sorry to say it but domi ain't gonna get you guys Barron lmao. i don't truly know the value of these players and what columbous wants are that's why I'm making MOCK trades. Beherns wont be a top 2 DMAN so why not have him as potential top 4 or even another trade asset.

For Domi, the Jackets want picks. 2nd as base, plus a later pick for retention.
