I’d do that in a heartbeat. The question is would WIN be in for a rebuild?

Not enough for Bucky. Spitballing here so bear with me,
Same trade but with 1st round pick swaps? It’s something I would personally be ok with if the Jets were going for a core change and 2-3 year retool and weren’t going for it during his contract. I don’t see him re-signing in Winnipeg.

Canucks don’t have many prospects. So if they are not trading roster players, not trading picks, what’s left?

Who said anything about not trading roster players lol. Everyone except Pettersson, Hughes, and Demko can be had. The catch is you gotta match the Canucks price and wants.

Saw somewhere that they aren’t trading Miller, Boeser etc but will try to trade Tyler Myers instead.

They are definitely trying to move Myers I would think. But what's been said about Miller is that it has to be a crazy offer to make a trade happen now. But it's more likely that he gets moved at the draft now. Boeser/Garland have been connected with Pittsburgh most likely involving Marino. Things could change if the Canucks go on a big losing streak tho.

Marino would be good add.
But how do they move Myers?

I think Myers is more movable than people think. There probably has to be some retention involved or a contract taken back but it's definitely possible.

Myers at 3 x $3m is certainly more palatable than his current deal, especially if it facilitates another move.

To get a top 3 goalie in the league it is going to cost a lot more.

A lot more than Blackwood and two A prospects?

Blackwood is ok, but Walsh and Stillman are not A prospects, especially Walsh. Look at the Eichel return and add more. It is going to have to be a top prospect, young player, and a first, plus a good young goalie prospect (Daws).
